Introducing Avatar Systems
Conversational systems with real personality
Avatar systems build on the functionality of the basic FAQ System that is known and used around the Internet currently. Again, the user simply types their query, and hits enter. The system then returns with a conversational answer to their question, and links to the relevant section of your website. However, these clever devices go one step further - they add an element of fun, bringing your brand to life and epitomising all you stand for.
What is an Avatar?
The outward face of your conversational system. Avatars can be 3D illustrations, animated photographs of real people, splodges, blobs and more... you tell us. We'll work closely to get look and feel right for you, and your avatar's answers are woven with your brand personality in mind from the outset. Take a look for yourself: differences between Yhaken, our avatar; Red , Birmingham Midshire's new assistant; and Lisa at National Rail show just how much scope there is for customisation.
Why an Avatar System?
There are a number of reasons an Avatar system is a great idea for your business. You'll find a more comprehensive business case here, though here are some reasons that may not have occurred to you:
- Sales advice without pushy service - customers enjoy finding out more without pressure. With avatars, they experience great service, but feel more relaxed as they can easily navigate away
- Your brand, brought to life - avatars are fun, and people enjoy playing with them - something we see time and time again. Not much of a business boost? Far from it - feel good factor is an invaluable brand collateral, and a unique, individual system has the potential to go viral when visitors forward your site's http to friends and family to take a look
Things to think about:
Our conversational systems aren't self-learning they depend on good human backup to evolve and develop. Unlike FAQ systems they don't include a 'did this help?' feedback button to refine performance. However, this makes avatar less vulnerable to competitor manipulation or just being badly trained. Let's be frank, who would you rather control the quality and relevance of your digital information? You or your customer?
